Recent Projects
Semi-Formal Front Garden
Semi-formal front garden I planted up two years ago, after a spring weed, prune and tidy. I always get lovely comments from passers-by when working on this one.
Mediterranean Inspired Garden
This planting scheme celebrates drought tolerant species, architectural grasses, and sun-loving Mediterranean plants that thrive in this sheltered South London garden.
Mediterranean inspired garden that I planted up a few years ago, after a winter tidy.
Shrub Garden, Sevenoaks
Careful shrub pruning and border weeding defines the planting, removes competition, and allows each shrub to show stems and crown to its full advantage.

Testimonials
“Hi Daisy, I’ve been meaning to write for a while but been so caught up with work and toddlers. We are absolutely loving the garden. I was lying on the grass this weekend watching the leaves, the flowers the insects and appreciating how beautiful it all is. The ornamental grass on the left is absolutely stunning. This gives us peace in the craziness and we couldn’t appreciate it more. Thank you x”

“Daisy did a great job clearing our garden and pruning it ready for the Summer earlier this year, we’d definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a professional local gardener with a focus on sustainable and eco-friendly gardening. The job ended up being bigger than we realised and Daisy had no problem staying longer to complete it. Thank you Daisy for all the hard work and bringing our garden back to life!”

“Daisy is the creative mind behind our smart and unique suburban front garden. With her skill and knowledge she took some initial ideas I’d had about what I wanted and created a front garden that is stunning; unique, simple yet interesting. She introduced us to plants and trees we’d never heard of that give borders a variety of colour and interest all year round. She advised us re climate, aspect and soil, and now the garden is established, continues to maintain and prepare it for each new season. Thank you Daisy for bringing my dream to life.”

If you're unsure whether I cover your area, please get in touch and I'll let you know.
Garden maintenance, planting, pruning, clearance, soil improvement and turfing are all charged at £37.50 per hour. For a free one-off consultation — including a garden visit, design ideas, planning discussion and written notes — the fee is £60.
Yes. I carry full public liability insurance, so you can have complete peace of mind when I'm working in your garden.
I hold an RHS Level 2 Award in Horticulture, gained at Capel Manor College (Regent's Park) in 2014. This is a widely recognised professional qualification covering plant knowledge, soil science, pruning techniques, pest and disease management, and much more. I also bring years of hands-on experience across many different garden styles.
Absolutely — it's at the heart of what I do. I specialise in creating and maintaining gardens that work in harmony with local wildlife. This means choosing plants that support pollinators, structuring borders for year-round interest, improving soil health naturally, and wherever possible reducing the use of chemicals. A beautiful garden and a thriving ecosystem really can go hand in hand.
Yes! Planting design is one of my favourite things to do. Whether you want a complete border replanting, a new seasonal colour scheme, or just some advice on what would thrive in your specific soil and aspect, I'd love to help. A consultation visit (£60) is the perfect starting point — I'll bring written notes, plant suggestions and a clear plan for moving forward.
Not at all! Many of my clients are at work or out during visits. As long as I have access to the garden (usually via a side gate), I'm happy to get on with the work. I'll always let you know when I've finished and what I've done.
Yes, this is something I genuinely enjoy tackling! A garden clearance and rescue is hugely satisfying work. Whether it's years of accumulated growth, a lawn that's lost its shape, or borders that have become overgrown with brambles, I can restore order and develop a plan to keep it looking great going forward. The first step is usually a consultation visit so we can talk through priorities and costs.
Yes — many of my clients are on a regular schedule (fortnightly or monthly, depending on the time of year). Regular visits help keep a garden in great shape throughout the seasons and mean you spend less time on catch-up work. I'm also happy to do one-off visits for specific jobs.
Absolutely. Much of Tonbridge and the Weald sits on heavy clay, while areas to the north can be sandier and free-draining. Both have their challenges! Soil improvement — through the addition of grit, organic matter, green manures and good composting practice — is a service I offer, and it can make a huge difference to the health and appearance of your garden over time.
